About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Environment and Climatic Adaptations Specialist to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for applying engineering instructions, guidelines, and established internal processes of the ECA domain to support project/offer development.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Participate in tender development, project execution, and validation, ensuring the application of climatic environment requirements and Transverse Requirements Specification (TRS).
- Collect and derive climatic environment requirements, and provide the related TRS.
- Ensure corrosion protection performances using ALSTOM standards.
- Support engineering, suppliers, production, and quality with metallic and non-metallic material selection.
- Liaise with Environment and Climatic Adaptations engineers from other sites to gather relevant Return on Experience (REX).
- Participate in R&D projects and work packages.
About You
We value passion and attitude over experience. To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Chemical, Materials, or General Engineering degree (Bachelor/Master of Science or equivalent).
- Management skills to lead R&D actions with a transversal approach.
- Good communication skills, pro-activity, team working, and strategic vision.
- Knowledge of climatic and corrosion international standards.
- English conversational/writing/reading advanced level mandatory.
- French conversational/reading advanced level is preferred.
