Job Title: Speech & Language Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech & Language Teaching Assistant to join our team at Clarus Education Ltd.

About the Role:

As a Speech & Language Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional support with their speech and language skills. Your primary responsibility will be to provide one-to-one intervention and support to these students, helping them to develop their communication skills and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one intervention and support to students with speech and language difficulties
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Assist students with SEN or speech and language difficulties in a primary school setting
  • Support the development of students' communication skills and confidence
Requirements:
  • Strong academic background, including a degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
  • Previous experience working with children, either voluntarily or paid
  • Experience working with children with SEN or speech and language difficulties
  • Aspiring Speech & Language therapist or similar qualification
  • Engaging and upbeat personality, with a passion for working with children
