About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Health Environment Manager to join our team at RGB Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, stakeholders, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to prevent injuries and illnesses in the workplace.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor and assess safety protocols, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and maintain safe working processes, policies, and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to management and employees on health and safety matters, including training and awareness programs.
- Manage and maintain the company's ISO management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs to promote a culture of safety and quality within the organization.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to management on safety performance, highlighting areas for improvement and successes.
- Liaise with external agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent HSE qualification)
- Working knowledge of the ISO 45001 management system
- Working knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and supporting regulations
- Passionate about health and safety
- SMSTS desirable
- Relevant driving license
