Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Supervise and support a team of support workers to ensure the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
- Develop and implement effective rotas to ensure the needs of our young people are met.
- Care and Support
- Meet the needs of our young people in line with Ofsted regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the implementation of the Statement of Purpose and ensure all aspects of care are delivered in accordance with company policies.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, young people, and external agencies to ensure seamless care and support.
- Collaborate with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home.
- Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare or a related field.
- Have at least six months' experience in children's residential care.
- Personal Qualities
- Be 21 years old or above due to Ofsted regulations.
- Be a flexible and adaptable individual who can work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive Salary and Benefits
- A competitive salary of £14.22 per hour, plus £2800 to £3600 sleep-in payments (based on 8-10 sleep-ins per month).
- 234 hours of paid annual leave per annum.
