About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Team Leader to join our team at CareTech Group. As a key member of our Children's Home team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and support a team of support workers to ensure the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
    • Develop and implement effective rotas to ensure the needs of our young people are met.
  • Care and Support
    • Meet the needs of our young people in line with Ofsted regulations and company policies.
    • Assist in the implementation of the Statement of Purpose and ensure all aspects of care are delivered in accordance with company policies.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues, young people, and external agencies to ensure seamless care and support.
    • Collaborate with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience
    • Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare or a related field.
    • Have at least six months' experience in children's residential care.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Be 21 years old or above due to Ofsted regulations.
    • Be a flexible and adaptable individual who can work well in a fast-paced environment.

    • A competitive salary of £14.22 per hour, plus £2800 to £3600 sleep-in payments (based on 8-10 sleep-ins per month).
    • 234 hours of paid annual leave per annum.
