Job Description

Job Title: Senior Nurse Trainer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Nurse Trainer to join our team at Fairlie Healthcare Group. As a Senior Nurse Trainer, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating clinical skills-based training, professional discussion, and competency-based assessment for clinical staff across all centres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Coordinate Training: Develop and implement clinical training programs for nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Manage and Mentor Staff: Supervise, mentor, and support registered nursing staff, including annual appraisals, to ensure they are able to carry out their roles effectively.
  • Develop and Implement Programs: Collaborate with the Learning and Development Manager to develop, review, and implement clinical leadership, management, and organizational development programs.
  • Induction and Training: Organize and facilitate the induction program for new staff members and provide bespoke in-service training as required.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Compile and prepare monthly reports on deliverables set by the Executive Board, including internal upskilling progress, clinical competency, and training completion across centres.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: UK Registered Nurse with an active PIN and Level 3 awareness in Education and Training (or equivalent).
  • Experience: At least 3 years' leadership experience and strong people management skills.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and stakeholder management, as well as good IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Location: This role requires attending our three centres in Purley, Banstead, and West Norwood. We are flexible regarding a work pattern that works for you.
