About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team at Pertemps TM. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality educational support to students in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise students in a classroom setting, ensuring they complete assigned tasks and activities.
  • Manage student behavior, adhering to the school's behavior policy and procedures.
  • Respond to student queries and provide support as needed.
  • Deal with any immediate problems or emergencies, following school policy and procedures.
  • Collect completed work and return it to the teacher.
  • Report back to the teacher on any issues that arose during the lesson.
Requirements
  • Hold a good standard of written and spoken English.
  • Have the ability to develop curriculum knowledge.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and be computer literate.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have a robust, outgoing, and friendly personality, with excellent behavior management skills.
  • Be able to work the full school day of 8.30-15.30.
  • Have experience working as a Cover Supervisor in the UK, or relevant experience as a Teaching Assistant.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of all students.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond positively to the changing needs of students and the school community.

Language Requirements
