Your new company is a leading insurance business that has experienced rapid growth over the past few years. Based in their headquarters in Egham, we are seeking a skilled Legal Cashier to join their team.

Your new role involves working as part of a specialized team within a broader finance function, taking ownership of key responsibilities. These include daily bank reconciliations, identifying and allocating client receipts, accounts payable, processing supplier invoices onto Sage, supplier statement reconciliations, processing employee expenses, billing of disbursements and fees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Identify and allocate client receipts to the correct accounts
  • Process accounts payable and ensure timely payment to suppliers
  • Process supplier invoices onto Sage and reconcile supplier statements
  • Process employee expenses and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Billing of disbursements and fees to clients

Requirements:

  • Experience working within a finance function, preferably as a Legal Cashier with knowledge of SARs
  • Experience working within a legal practice, solicitor firm, or law firm

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £32,000 - £38,000
  • Hybrid working arrangements, including flexible start and finish times
