Job Title: Senior Ruby On Rails Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ruby On Rails Developer to join our team at Ocho. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications using Ruby on Rails.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new features and enhancements for our web applications
  • Collaborate with the product team to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
  • Work closely with the QA team to ensure that all code meets the highest standards of quality and reliability
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Ruby on Rails and related technologies
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as RSpec and Cucumber
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails 5 and later
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and other relational databases
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as React and Angular
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
