About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Superintendent to join our team in the South of England.

As a key member of our in-house construction team, you will play a crucial role in delivering capital projects and replacing Electrical Assets ranging from 11kV to 132kV in substations across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate our work programme to ensure adequate resources are available and prepare Construction Phase Plans for our sites as per the CDM requirements.
  2. Review contractor and sub-contractor RAMS as necessary.
  3. Ensure our staff, contractors, and sub-contractors are fully inducted on site, carry out tool box talks, and receive safety documents as necessary.
  4. Order minor materials for projects as and when required, including tracking orders and invoices and processing quotations from numerous suppliers.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  1. Formal qualifications such as IOSH, NEBOSH, SMSTS, first aid at work, EUSR.
  2. Formal qualification in electrical engineering.
  3. Experience in co-ordinating site teams and proactively supervising site works to ensure excellent standards in Health, Safety, and Quality.

Regular travel is required, and as a result, we can only accept applications from candidates that hold a current driving licence.
