Retail Operations Manager

Compensation: £31,104 total package - (£28,704 annual salary + £200 monthly vehicle allowance)

Location: Milton Keynes

Are you seeking a position that allows you to engage in significant projects for some of the UK's top grocery and DIY retailers? We have salaried Team Leader roles available where you will be involved in New Store openings, Refurbishments, Product Range Evaluations, and Store Support Initiatives. You will thrive in a dynamic environment, making swift decisions while leading teams to maintain high merchandising standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work schedule typically spans 48 hours from Sunday to Thursday.
  • Lead and assist a team of merchandisers and stock replenishers in executing tasks as directed by the client.
  • Provide updates to management regarding project progress and completion.
  • Conduct health and safety orientations and inspections.
  • Shifts generally last 12 hours, including both day and night shifts (mostly nights). Access to available assignments will be facilitated through our Field Power platform, allowing you to manage your availability and accept shifts.
  • Clocking in and out will be done via your smartphone.
  • Work will take place at various retail client locations, with travel varying from shift to shift.
  • Your responsibilities will include:
  • Removing and replacing stock according to client plans and systems.
  • Adjusting shelf heights as necessary.
  • Transporting stock from the warehouse to the sales floor using roll cages and pallet trucks.
  • Ensuring stock replenishment is carried out effectively.
  • Travel may be required when local assignments are unavailable, with accommodation provided as needed.

  • Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be available for unsociable hours, including early mornings and overnight shifts. Therefore, applicants must be 18 years or older.
