Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Procurement and Supply Chain department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our inventory and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, receipts, and deliveries.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, inventory control, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
