Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in London. As part of a leading independent consulting engineering firm, our London office boasts extensive experience across various sectors and is home to a vibrant, collaborative environment.

You will be working on a diverse range of projects, both in the UK and internationally, designing advanced mechanical engineering systems using the latest software and tools. Your expertise will be essential in leading mechanical services design for large-scale projects and managing small to medium-sized projects within the office.

The project portfolio covers sectors such as Education, Science and Research, Healthcare, Leisure, Residential, Commercial, Defence, and high-end mixed-use developments, with a primary focus on Residential and Education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver high-quality mechanical engineering solutions for a range of projects.
  • Lead mechanical services design for large-scale projects and manage small to medium-sized projects.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers to deliver innovative, coordinated, and high-quality design solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior staff, offering guidance to help them grow and contribute effectively.
  • Collaborate with the team leader to monitor financials, fee expenditure, and resource allocation.
  • Promote innovation, research, and continuous improvement to stay ahead of competitors.
