Care Home Deputy Manager Role
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at a beautiful care home in Colchester. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in assisting the Home Manager in managing operations within the home, ensuring the provision of high-quality care to residents.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Assist the Home Manager in overseeing the care staff and assume full management in their absence
* Train and supervise care staff in all aspects of their work
* Conduct pre-admission assessments of residents and ensure their care plans and daily records are up-to-date
* Foster effective communication with residents' families and other organizations
**Requirements:**
* Previous Deputy Home Manager experience
* Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent care
* Good working knowledge of CQC standards
* Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing team
