About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Modeller/Hydrology Consultant to join our team at Aldwych Consulting. As a key member of our consulting team, you will have the opportunity to develop your career in the water/environment sector and work on a diverse range of projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in flood modelling and hydrology, with experience in using UK-recognised flood modelling packages such as Flood Modeller, ESTRY, and TUFLOW. You will also have excellent communication skills and be able to present complex technical information to a range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement hydraulic models for flood risk assessments and flood alleviation studies
  • Undertake hydrological analysis for model inputs using WINFAP/ReFH or other methods
  • Communicate complex modelling outputs to clients and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Work independently and as part of a distributed team to deliver projects on time and to budget
