We are currently seeking Residential Care Assistants for Children on behalf of a brand new, exceptional children's residential facility. This home caters to children aged 9 to 17 who face emotional and social behavioral challenges, and we are looking for full-time staff to join our expanding team.


Position: Residential Care Assistant for Children

Salary: £22,160 - £28,240
Location: Leiston, East Suffolk
Hours: Full-time - 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Day contracts include a mix of early, late, and long day shifts with sleep-ins; Night contracts consist of 4 night shifts per week from 10 PM to 8 AM.

**Due to the nature of this role, candidates must possess a full driver's license and have access to a vehicle.**

This position offers a dynamic work environment where no two days are alike. While the work can be challenging, it is also incredibly rewarding.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Experience in a healthcare or social care setting is desirable.
  • A valid driver's license is essential for transporting young people as needed.
  • Applicants must be over the age of 22.
  • NVQ or QCF level 3 in Children & Young People is desirable.
  • Ability to commute to Leiston and adapt to a flexible shift pattern is essential.
