Job Summary:

Jumar Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team as a Deskside Engineer. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract with the potential for a full-time opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hardware and software support, both remotely and on-site, to meet customer needs in a diverse working environment.
  • Meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements for IT products.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide solutions.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to resolve technical issues and improve overall IT services.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of IT systems, software, and hardware to provide expert support.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of commercial IT engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of Windows OS and Server OS.
  • Experience with Active Directory, network fault troubleshooting, and network builds.
  • Basic hardware knowledge, including laptop keyboards, memory, and hard drives.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and customer liaison skills.
  • Full UK driving license.

Desirable Skills:

  • Desktop and laptop accreditation.
  • Knowledge of specific customer software.
