We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to support and develop the technical infrastructure of our organization, focusing primarily on digital preservation and collections management.

As a key member of our team, you will lead on the technical elements of our digital preservation strategy, supporting the development of new systems and services to enhance the interoperability of our collections and improve the discovery experience for our users.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

  1. Maintenance and development of our technical infrastructure, covering a diverse range of systems, applications, and services.
  2. Implementation and ongoing development of our digital preservation system, supporting staff in its operation and expansion.
  3. Establishment of integrated infrastructure and workflows for our collections, with the specification and procurement of a new collection management system.
  4. Enhancement of the interoperability of systems and synchronization of data to deliver a seamless discovery experience for our users.
  5. Providing technical advice on digital tools and services on initiatives focused on our collections that will transform the way audiences are connected with research and teaching resources.
