About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Deputy Care Manager to join our team at Shotover View. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for leading a small team of care staff to deliver outstanding care to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the domiciliary care service, ensuring that care plans are regularly reviewed and implemented.
- Lead and motivate a small team of care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver high-quality care.
- Ensure that the wellbeing of our clients is at the forefront of everything we do, providing a safe and supportive environment for them to thrive.
- Work closely with the Domiciliary Care Manager to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our clients.
- Manage rotas and payroll, performance reviews, interviewing and inductions for new starters.
About You
We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of caring for vulnerable individuals, with a commitment to providing high-quality care at all times. You will have previous supervisory experience from the health and social care sector, including managing rotas and payroll, performance reviews, interviewing and inductions for new starters.
Requirements
- Diploma/NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Previous supervisory experience from the health and social care sector.
- Ability to work on your own and use your own initiative to resolve problems and deal with queries.
- Access to transport for occasional travel to other schemes.
