Leisure Assistant/Lifeguard Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Leisure Assistant/Lifeguard at Colchester Leisure World.

About the Role:

  • As a Leisure Assistant/Lifeguard, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of building hygiene, appearance, and lifeguarding the pools.
  • You will also be expected to carry out various equipment changeovers and liaise with Duty Officers as needed.
  • Working closely with the team, you will ensure the smooth and safe running of Leisure World Colchester and its sporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain pool areas, including cleaning and maintaining equipment.
  • Conduct lifeguarding duties, ensuring the safety of pool users.
  • Assist with pool operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve excellent customer service and a safe, clean environment.

Requirements:

  • A current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential.
