About the Role

FitzRoy is a national charity that supports hundreds of people with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, autism, acquired brain injuries, and mental health support needs. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Support Worker to join our team in the Nottinghamshire area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management team in the daily running of a specialist complex service that supports 11 service users.
  • Act as a role model for excellent practice and provide guidance to develop the team to support people to lead full and active lives as members of their community.
  • Carry out support worker activities to a high standard and contribute to a culture of open information, communication, and constructive feedback with colleagues and management team.
  • Work in partnership with the staff team, internal and external stakeholders, professionals, and the local community to achieve objectives using best practice guidelines and FitzRoy values.
