We are seeking a dedicated Legal Secretary to provide essential support to our Residential Property team. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive administrative assistance to our fee earners.


Applicants should ideally possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in an office or administrative role, with a preference for those with a background in residential conveyancing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience in audio typing (preferably within a legal context) are essential, along with the ability to manage client inquiries effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Legal Secretary, you will need to demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork, and outstanding client care skills.

Your Daily Tasks May Include:
- Opening and closing client files
- Regularly updating LMS/Lender Exchange
- Preparing documentation for client care
- Ordering searches, including search packs and pre-exchange searches (e.g., OS1s, bankruptcy searches, Lawyer Checker)
- Receiving and scanning post into our systems
- Updating and following up with agents
- Managing post-completion matters, such as AP1s and SDLTs
- Handling exchange and completion correspondence
