Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our Cardiac ITU team at Hca Cancer Network. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert care to patients with cardiac conditions, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Support and mentor junior staff members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to enhance their skills and confidence.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.

Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse with NMC pin
  • Cardiac ITU experience desirable - but not essential, as full training will be given
  • Critical Care Course (60 credits)
