Job Summary:

Hca Cancer Network is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Specialist to join our team at The Harborne Hospital. As a Resident Doctor, you will cover our level 3 Critical Care Adult Unit and general wards, acting on Consultant-led decisions in partnership with highly specialist Nurses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate medical care, including attending and leading on emergency cardiac arrest calls or other instances where patients need your medical specialist support.
• Clerking admissions, reviewing discharges, assessing referrals, and performing pre-op or post-op treatments.
• Participate in audits, projects, and quality improvement initiatives, and have the opportunity to join a variety of internal networks.

Requirements:

• GMC Registration and License to Practice in the UK.
• Intensive Care Medicine training (Critical Care and Anaesthesia).
• Experience working in a level 3 Critical Care Adult Unit.
