Main responsibilities include:

  • Managing shipments for a diverse range of customers, building strong relationships, and ensuring repeat business
  • Booking and pricing shipments between the UK and Europe
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with carriers to secure the best prices
  • Ensuring all shipments have the necessary documentation and customs entries
  • Keeping customers informed of any changes to delivery dates or issues
  • Monitoring shipments to guarantee safe arrival
  • Providing exceptional customer service to foster repeat business

We are looking for:

  • Experience in an imports or exports role, preferably for a broker or freight forwarder
  • Experience in road freight
  • A problem solver who remains calm under pressure and finds effective solutions
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
