Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores & Inspection Operative to join our client's team in a Temp to Perm role. The successful candidate will have experience in Stores and Inspection, with a strong understanding of supply chain management and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the flow of parts through the machining and inspection stages, utilizing the Kanban process and control boards.
- De-cant and sort returns from sub-con treatment processes, ensuring accurate documentation and organization.
- Inspect and prepare parts for machining, including visual inspections and quality control checks.
- Raise purchase orders for in-house and sub-con machining, and coordinate delivery to providers.
- Support the movement of part numbers through the finishing value stream cells.
- Clean, inspect, pack, and palletize parts for transportation.
- Complete supporting documentation for expediting orders, including transportation needs.
- Perform basic keyboard tasks on the MRP system.
- Assist with consumable stocktake, replenishment, and general stores duties.
Requirements:
- Experience in Stores and Inspection, with a strong understanding of supply chain management and inventory control.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Basic keyboard skills and familiarity with MRP systems.
