Your Role
:The Principal Product Management Director will report directly to the Chief Product Engineering Officer and play a pivotal role in Oxa's product engineering leadership team. You will provide strategic guidance and oversight from a product management perspective to product managers and teams throughout our Engineering division.
This role involves shaping the product vision across Oxa's diverse portfolio. You will ensure that robust product management practices are integrated into every product engineering team, utilizing customer-focused methodologies, enhancing market awareness, engaging with customers, and collaborating with teams to develop comprehensive product roadmaps. The ideal candidate will be crucial in steering our product management teams to consistently deliver outstanding products that meet market needs and align with our company's strategic objectives.
This is a hands-on position. In addition to offering direction and mentorship for product managers and teams across the organization, you will be expected to engage with customers and partners, gather market intelligence, and personally craft product visions, specifications, and roadmaps.
Requirements
What you need to succeed:
Proven experience in developing commercially successful B2B products within an emerging industry. Experience leading product management across a large-scale, complex environment, even if not through direct line management. Demonstrated ability to implement a customer-centric approach and propagate it throughout an organization. Experience in building market intelligence and guiding teams to make informed decisions based on data insights. Proven track record of instilling strong product discipline across teams, including those without dedicated product managers, to help them create customer-focused product roadmaps. Experience applying metrics to analyze customer behavior and product performance, using insights to enhance the product. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Extra kudos if you have:
