Financial Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to join our Financial-Operations Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing financial support and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide detailed bordereaux of payments to all suppliers
  • Assist in processing online electronic banking
  • Set up and maintain installment plans
  • Produce cheques and post receipts
  • Support the recovery process and banking cheques
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain Excel spreadsheets
  • Cancellation of cheques
  • First point of contact for all payment queries
  • Identify and analyze payment errors
  • Support the Claims function with ad hoc responsibilities and projects
Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal skills with effective working relationships
  • Attention to detail with high numeracy and literacy competence
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines in a professional environment
  • Eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Self-sufficiency and ability to work independently
