Financial Transaction Coordinator

Jackson Hogg Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their dynamic finance team in Sedgefield. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling statements, and liaising with suppliers to ensure accurate and timely payments.
Key Responsibilities:- Process invoices accurately and ensure timely payments.
- Perform regular reconciliations of supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve invoice and payment queries.
- Prepare and process payment runs to ensure correct amounts are paid on time.
- Support the finance team with various administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and assisting with month-end processes.
- Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks.
