We are seeking an exceptional candidate to lead our Estates Operations team, responsible for driving improvements in the performance of our unique estate portfolio. The successful candidate will provide effective leadership and management of the team, overseeing property assets and space management, building and engineering maintenance, health and safety, energy and sustainability, and maintenance services, managing a revenue budget of £18m.
Key Responsibilities- Lead on several strategic developments, including the Strategic Asset Management Plan, Decarbonisation Strategy, and Digital Campus.
- Collaborate with teams across the Estate and Facilities portfolio, members of the wider University leadership and management team, and external partners.
- Drive improvements in operational efficiency and international reputation of our estate.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance the performance of our estate portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have senior leadership experience in estate management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and engage those around them. They will be able to build effective relationships with university colleagues and external partners, think broadly and strategically, and challenge convention to enhance the operational efficiency and international reputation of our estate.
