We're currently seeking a Compliance Officer to join our team, responsible for maintaining our compliance posture and ensuring we meet the requirements of UK law and relevant audit standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing the extent to which Focus Group meets the requirements of UK law and/or relevant audit standards (e.g. GDPR, DPA 2018)
  • Working within Focus Group to comply with relevant legislation within our responsibility and/or meet the requirements of recognised standards e.g. International Organisation for Standardisations (ISO)
  • Providing information, guidance and advice to stakeholders on how to comply with legislation or meet audit requirements in their division
  • Conducting risk assessments and highlighting hazards which may result in non-compliance by Focus Group
  • Writing reports following inspections or audits
  • Maintaining ownership and updates to I.T. and relevant policies and processes
  • Liaising with key stakeholders to resolve any issues of non-compliance

Requirements:

  • A high level of understanding for defining processes and procedures
  • Ability to plan and deliver compliance support tasks
  • Ability to work to deadlines and drive others to meet key objectives
  • Can clearly request, gather, analyse and share information tailored to the needs of the stakeholder
  • Able to work independently on tasks and projects, whilst keeping engaged with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to manage the ISMS whilst supporting colleagues that have tasks allocated to them for completion/input
  • People focused individual, with a good attention to detail and can think outside the box to solve problems and requests.
