About the Role
ProductLife Group, a leading company in the product development and life sciences industry, is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Consultant to strengthen our regulatory affairs division in the UK and Europe.
About the Job
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in regulatory affairs, with a proven track record of working on a range of nutritional products, including food supplements, ingredients, general foods, foods for special medical purposes, novel foods, and additives, in the UK and Europe.
Responsibilities
- Conduct formula and label reviews for nutritional products to ensure compliance with UK and European regulations.
- Provide recommendations and advice to clients on how to alter product formulations and labels to meet regulatory requirements.
- Review health and nutrition claims according to FSA/EFSA guidance and provide scientific support for claims.
- Develop and submit novel food dossiers to authorities and respond to questions from regulatory bodies.
- Assist with regulatory submissions in the UK and European countries.
- Collaborate with clients to develop regulatory strategies for market access in the UK and Europe.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant regulatory guidelines and ensure compliance with changing regulations.
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in human nutrition, food science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, with a focus on nutritional products in the UK and Europe.
- Excellent knowledge of UK and European food regulations, as well as regulations for self-care medical devices, cosmetics, herbal medicines, biocides, and borderline products.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
- Fluent English language skills.
