About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Consultant to join our team at ProductLife Group. As a key member of our regulatory affairs division, you will play a crucial role in strengthening our presence in the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out formula and label reviews for nutritional products, including food supplements, general foods, and foods for special medical purposes, to ensure compliance with UK and European regulations.
  • Provide recommendations and advice to clients on how to alter product formulations and labels to meet regulatory requirements, considering business and scientific objectives.
  • Review health and nutrition claims according to FSA/EFSA guidance, ensuring compliance with approved claims lists and on-hold claims lists.
  • Write novel food dossiers and submit them to authorities, responding to questions and queries as needed.
  • Assist with regulatory submissions in the UK and European countries, ensuring timely and accurate compliance.
  • Develop regulatory strategies for market access for a range of nutritional and health products in the UK and Europe.
  • Identify and interpret relevant regulatory guidelines, ensuring up-to-date knowledge and expertise.
  • Draft regulatory framework documents, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
Requirements
  • At least a Bachelor's Degree in human nutrition, food science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, with a focus on nutrition and health products in the UK and Europe.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK and European food regulations, as well as self-care medical devices, cosmetics, herbal medicines, biocides, and borderline products.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software.
  • Fluent English language skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
