Deputy Manager Childrens Home Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Esland Care, a leading provider of specialist services for children. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the children's home
  • Supervise and support a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care and support
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of our young people
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and best practice
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve the quality of care and support
Requirements:
  • Minimum 12 months supervisory experience in a children's residential care home
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
  • Full driving licence issued in the UK
  • Right to work in the UK with no restrictions
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and best practice
  • Values in line with Esland Care's approach to childcare
