This ENGAGING role comprises 14 hours dedicated to service management and 21 hours of direct care experience. You will collaborate with a seasoned service manager to further develop your professional skills.

We are looking for several COMPASSIONATE and DEVOTED Deputy Managers to join a Residential Service catering to Adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs. The service supports adults of varying ages and requires candidates who possess a nurturing disposition and the ability to connect with those they assist.

  • Salary: £25,293 - £28,413
  • Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Shifts: Monday to Friday with one weekend day shift every four weeks


This position is ideal for individuals looking to progress from a Support Worker role. Previous management experience is not a prerequisite, as comprehensive training will be provided.

As a Deputy Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Manager and sharing responsibility for overseeing the team and service
  • Planning staff schedules and managing team dynamics
  • Ensuring compliance with service standards
  • Promoting independence and empowering individuals to make their own choices
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of service users
  • Implementing care plans tailored to each individual

Requirements:

  • NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care, with a willingness to pursue Level 3
