Job Title: Property Clearance Operative

We are seeking a skilled Property Clearance Operative to join our team at Totally Recruitment Ltd. As a Property Clearance Operative, you will be responsible for the cleaning and clearing of vacant and tenanted properties, gardens, and outbuildings to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clearing and cleaning vacant and tenanted properties, including interior and exterior spaces
  • Removing furniture, carpets, underlay, lino, curtains, and blinds from customer properties
  • Removing any other items left behind
  • Removing old or damaged outbuildings and sheds from gardens
  • Trimming back hedges and grassed garden areas
  • Removing debris from gardens, yards, and driveways
  • Delivering and retrieving security keys
  • Performing other tasks as directed by the site manager
  • Removing needles, bodily fluids, and other contaminated objects when necessary
  • Updating the call centre during jobs as required
Requirements:
  • Full UK driver's licence is essential
  • Must live locally and be willing to transport to and from work
  • No criminal convictions - a DBS check will be required upon successful probationary period
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy items consistently
  • Good communication skills
  • Safety-conscious and positive approach

You will be trained and developed over time to perform a range of duties in line with our client's services, which may include fitting steel, responding to mobile alarms, mould eradication, pest control, and other services.
