Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CEDAR GLEN PROPERTY MAINTENANCE INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing mechanical maintenance on production and process machinery within a plastics manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair production and process machinery, including hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, drives, and pumps.
  • Work within a CMMS system to plan and execute pre-planned maintenance tasks.
  • Perform reactive maintenance to address equipment failures and malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance supervisor to identify and implement continuous improvement projects.
  • Participate in facilities maintenance and other related tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Apprentice-trained or equivalent mechanical maintenance engineer, mechanical fitter, or mechanical technician.
  • Proven experience working within a manufacturing environment, preferably in a plastics manufacturing facility.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, as well as mechanical equipment maintenance.
