Role Summary:

We are in search of a committed Electrical Engineer with a strong background in testing and inspection to enhance our team at HM Prison Bedford. This role presents both challenges and rewards, as you will be part of a motivated and supportive group.

As an Electrical Engineer at HM Prison Bedford, your contributions will be crucial in upholding the electrical systems of the facility, ensuring the safety and welfare of all individuals present.

To excel in this position, candidates should possess a minimum of five years of experience as an electrician, alongside at least two years focused on testing and inspection. Familiarity with commercial or industrial electrical systems is preferred.

  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Excellent communication capabilities
  • Strong understanding of health and safety standards
  • C&G qualifications in Electrical Installation and Inspection
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
