About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical First Assistant to join our Theatre Department at The Yorkshire Clinic, part of Ramsay Health Care UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during operations, providing support and expertise in the theatre environment.
- Work collaboratively with the theatre team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Provide high-quality patient care and maintain a safe and clean theatre environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with consultants and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of theatre policies and procedures.
Requirements
- NMC or HCPC registration.
- SFA qualification.
- Experience of working with scrubbing in theatres.
- A warm, considerate, and empathetic character.
- The ability to make decisions and use your initiative.
- Strong communication skills.
- Passion to deliver excellent care in a rewarding and challenging environment.
- A flexible and positive attitude.
