About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant in Gynaecology Outpatients and Diagnostic Suite to support the running of general clinics and all of our diagnostic services. This includes supporting our two-week wait services, hysteroscopy, and colposcopy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Chaperone and support doctors, nurses, and patients to ensure safe and professional experiences for patients.
  • Contribute to the delivery of compassionate patient-centred care to women using our services, often in stressful times with high anxiety levels.

Person Specification

  • Significant experience of the NHS or healthcare and an interest in the speciality with knowledge of wider issues relating to healthcare.
  • Makes a positive contribution as a team player and demonstrates awareness of the importance of working as part of a team.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Evidence of the Care Certificate or commitment to achieve on joining the Trust. Understanding of the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.

What We Offer

You will be given a training programme for the first few weeks of employment, carry out the Trust Essential Training, and be given an appraisal every 12 months.
