We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to join our Integrated Mental Healthcare team at HMP YOI Doncaster. As a key member of our team, you will work with a diverse range of complex presentations, trauma, and deprivation, providing expert psychological support and oversight to our Integrated Mental Health Team.
About the Role
This part-time position (28 hours/4 days per week, Monday-Friday) offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, supporting the development of our psychological therapies service. You will be part of the clinical leadership team, contributing to the development of audit, service evaluation, and research profile as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer clinical support and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team, including training and development
- Undertake psychological assessments and support complex multi-disciplinary formulations
- Deliver and oversee the delivery of 1:1 psychological interventions and group interventions as part of the Trauma-Informed 'Making Sense' Programme
- Deliver teaching and training to healthcare and prison staff as required

Requirements
- Full HCPC registration
- Proven post-qualification professional experience in Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychology
- Experience working with Forensic Mental Health patients
- Experience working with psychological trauma
- Excellent communication skills
