Job Description

As a key member of our team at Segula Technologies, you will play a crucial role in delivering a new low-volume Body-in-White (BiW) production facility. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the dimensional quality output from this bodyshop meets our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and resolves downstream customer issues.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Oversee the quality performance of each zone, utilizing standard roadmaps to report improvements against deadlines.
  • Complete assembly tooling commissioning activities, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Perform physical buy-off of assembly tooling, adhering to the MEDOC9 process.
  • Develop commissioning plans for each build phase, allowing sufficient time for measurement program commissioning and data gathering.
  • Support the build and commissioning of the bodyshop, with responsibility for achieving dimensional quality targets, both process-related and product/downstream customer-related.
  • Review Part Shifted Tolerance Requests, ensuring deviations do not compromise vehicle quality.
  • Monitor, review, improve, and report on Dimensional Metrics and Roadmaps in all required forums.
  • Lead Virtual and/or Physical Matching events – Exterior Co-Ordination Fixtures (ECF) and Part Co-Ordination Fixtures (PCF).

Requirements:

  • Degree or Higher National Diploma/Certificate in a relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Automotive background with understanding of Manufacturing Processes (ideally Body-in-White and General Assembly).
  • Experience in launching a new vehicle into production.
