Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive, seasoned, and innovative professional with exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership abilities to join our Learning and Development (L&D) Team.
In this role, you will assist the Learning & Development Team Manager in defining the strategic vision and taking the lead on specific areas of responsibility. You will provide a high-quality, effective, and efficient strategic L&D service to various stakeholders, including the People and Culture Directorate and the Strategic Leadership Team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and service area requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a team of up to two Learning & Development Advisers.
- Design, implement, and lead comprehensive learning programs.
- Manage specific projects within the team, such as leadership training, mandatory training, equality and diversity initiatives, safeguarding, career pathways, and quality improvement relevant to current service needs.
The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in delivering effective workforce development solutions. You should have:
- Extensive experience in the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning programs.
- Significant expertise in developing leadership programs for all levels, from supervisors to senior management.
- Exceptional project management and prioritization skills.
- A proven ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing demands.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle challenging discussions with sensitivity and clarity.
- Experience in identifying workforce development needs and implementing effective plans.
- A people-centered approach, demonstrating enthusiasm and positivity in helping others reach their potential.
