Risk Management Specialist

As part of this, the Group procurement team will be standardizing and improving our operations globally.
We are seeking a Vendor Risk Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the risk assessment and mitigation activities with our supply chain. Your primary focus will be on data privacy requirements and obligations in our supply chain. You will develop into managing legislative compliance and best possible provisions in our supplier agreements.
You will design and lead processes that ensure excellence in our due diligence processes, maintaining current compliance and providing information to support our actions and decisions. You will be recognized as an expert within the organization in this area, supporting others throughout the procurement process.
The role will report to the Head of Vendor Risk & Assurance and will work with category leads and other key roles to explore, initiate, and embed sustainable, ethical, social value, and inclusivity improvements across all of our activities.

We are looking for individuals who have a clear understanding of GDPR and similar Data Protection Regulations in the context of commercial contracts. You should be able to administer and draft data privacy contractual clauses, including the application of the SCCs for international transfers.
You should have experience of supply chain/procurement risk in general and be comfortable with business-to-business procurement contracts. A strong compliance mindset and drive, with experience in an international organization, are essential.
