Role Summary:

As a Commissioning Specialist within the Younger Adults Commissioning Team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing Supported Accommodation practices for individuals in Hampshire. This position focuses on empowering younger adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and mental health conditions to achieve greater independence with the necessary support.

The current framework for managing Supported Accommodation in Hampshire is under review, and your expertise will be crucial in identifying and implementing improvements. Your role will be central to this initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your understanding of social care and the financial implications involved to inform service design and development.
  • Leverage your experience in quality assurance and monitoring to establish service requirements and execution plans.
  • Employ your advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel, to enhance the IT systems that facilitate the Supported Accommodation process.
  • Build and maintain effective, trust-based relationships with various stakeholders, including Case Management Teams and Care and Housing Providers, to ensure collaborative efforts yield positive outcomes for residents.
  • Support additional Commissioning activities, including procurement processes and contract oversight.

Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel within Hampshire may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this role.
