About the Role

The Restaurant General Manager is a key leadership position at Taco Bell, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a restaurant. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and develop a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive sales growth, and maintain high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build People Capability
    • Develop and implement strategies to recruit, train, and retain high-performing team members
    • Lead performance management processes to ensure employees are meeting expectations
    • Coach and develop managers to drive results through others
  • Deliver a Consistent Customer Experience
    • Ensure seamless execution of marketing programs and promotions
    • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to health and safety codes
    • Monitor and analyze customer feedback to drive improvements
  • Grow the Brand, Sales, and Profits
    • Manage profit and loss, ensuring financial targets are met
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and increase market share
    • Monitor and analyze sales, labor, and inventory data to inform business decisions
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; university degree preferred
  • 2-4 years of operational management experience in the quick service restaurant industry or retail environment
  • Strong business acumen, including basic math and accounting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve results
