A leading financial services company is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their small finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing day-to-day transactions and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Reconciling customer accounts and ensuring timely payment.
  • Managing credit control processes, including reconciliations and chasing outstanding payments.
  • Producing customer statements and reminder letters on a monthly basis.
  • Reconciling supplier accounts and processing payments and refunds.
  • Preparing and submitting VAT Returns.
  • Managing company expenses and maintaining accurate records.

Key Skills Required:

  • Proven supervisory experience and team leadership skills.
  • Strong process management and attention to detail.
  • Excellent general maths and accounting skills, with AAT level or equivalent.
