We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Educational Psychologist to join our team at North East Ambition. As a key member of our Educational Psychology Service, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and emotional well-being of children and young people in South Tyneside.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality educational psychology services to schools and other settings, including training, therapeutic work, and systemic interventions.
- Work closely with schools, other professionals, and the Local Authority to develop and implement effective strategies to support children and young people.
- Contribute to the development of innovative ways of working with schools and other settings, and engage in research and evaluation activities to inform practice.
- Supervise and support trainee Educational Psychologists and other professionals, and provide opportunities for continuing professional development.
- A friendly, supportive, and nurturing team environment that values collaboration and innovation.
- Opportunities to engage in a wide range of work, including critical incident support, research, and supervision.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified Educational Psychologist with a strong track record of delivering high-quality services to children and young people. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team, communicate complex ideas clearly, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.
