About the Role

We are seeking an Associate to join our IP Disputes team in London, focusing on Patent Disputes within the Life Sciences and Technology sectors. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced partners, handling high-profile patent cases in the UK Courts.

The Team

Our IP Disputes team is led by Arty Rajendra and consists of 6 Partners, 2 Associate Directors, 3 Senior Associates, 7 Associates, 2 Trainee Solicitors, 4 Paralegals, and 1 Formalities Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in handling patent disputes, particularly in the Life Sciences and Technology sectors.
  • Work closely with experienced partners, including Will James, a specialist in complex technical life sciences and technology patent disputes.
  • Contribute to the development of the IP Disputes team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of Patent Disputes gained at a firm with a strong reputation in this area.
  • Studies or qualifications in biochemistry, biology, chemistry, immunology, or similar.
  • Strong technical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
