Stride Resource Management Ltd is a distinguished Insurance Brokerage seeking a skilled Property Account Handler to enhance our client services. This position is integral to delivering exceptional insurance solutions to both existing and prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business quotes upon request, offering pertinent advice and insights.
  • Process instructions from new clients, ensuring timely coverage initiation, completion of necessary documentation, collection of premiums, and accurate record-keeping.
  • Manage requests from current clients regarding modifications to existing policies, ensuring timely communication with insurers and updates to records.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to strategize on renewals and identify opportunities for cross-selling.
  • Engage in negotiations with Underwriters to secure the best outcomes for clients.
  • Facilitate the renewal process for existing clients, either with current insurers or by transitioning to new ones as needed.
  • Thoroughly review all client documentation prior to dispatch, addressing any queries and making necessary amendments.
  • Maintain an organized diary system to ensure timely follow-ups on all tasks.
  • Keep client records current in the company’s electronic filing system.
  • Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities in collaboration with specialized teams within the organization.
  • Assist clients during the claims process, providing necessary support.
  • Offer risk management guidance and information in line with insurer requirements.
  • Support the Accounts department as needed, particularly in credit control matters.
  • Accompany Account Executives on client visits when necessary.

Candidate Profile:

  • At least 2 years of experience in insurance broking.
  • Familiarity with Property and Package Policies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Team-oriented with a strong desire to achieve results.
  • Proficient negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance and requirements.
  • Proficient in IT, including client management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Preferably qualified to Cert CII level or willing to pursue this qualification with company support.
