About the Role

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Coordinator to join our team at Helping Hands. As a Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our Registered Care Managers in delivering exceptional care and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Branch Care Manager: Provide care and support to our customers and carers within the local community.
  • Ensure High Standards of Care: Effectively allocate staff to ensure customers receive the highest standards of care and support.
  • Complete Direct Observations and Supervisions: Conduct direct observations and supervisions for care teams within the correct timescales.
  • Recruit and Retain Staff: Support the Branch Care Manager to maintain carer numbers by actively recruiting new team members and guiding them through the recruitment process.
  • Reassess Customers: Reassess customers to ensure care plans are reflective of their needs and condition.
  • Business Development: Actively seek new business opportunities and support the commercial growth of the branch.
  • Customer Service: Ensure the highest levels of customer service are always provided.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care or be willing to work towards achieving this. Additionally, you will need to have knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practice in line with CQC/CIW guidance and experience of working within the care sector at supervisory level. You will also need to have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
